Register for an event

Fill in the form on the event page and save your place.

Open the event

Your club shares events as a link. That link is either the full address — joinrunclub.com/yourclub/saturday-long-run — or a short one like joinrunclub.com/event/A1B2C3. Both open the same page.

You can also browse everything a club has coming up from its profile at joinrunclub.com/yourclub. Public events are listed there; private ones are reachable only by their link.

The event page

The date, time and location sit at the top; the registration form is below them. Example event and club.

Fill in the form

Every event asks for your name, email and phone number. Beyond those three, the host chooses what to collect — a t-shirt size, a pace group, an emergency contact — so the questions differ from club to club. Anything marked required has to be answered before the form will submit.

  1. Enter your name, email and phone number.
  2. Answer the host's questions. Required ones are marked.
  3. Choose Register.
The registration form

Name, email and phone are always collected. The questions under them are the host's own. Example event details.

Use an email address you can actually open. It is how the host identifies you on the day, and on events that use location or QR check-in it is the address you enter to mark yourself present.

Check that you have a place

A confirmation appears as soon as the form is accepted, and the page then remembers you: come back to the same event on the same device and it greets you with Already Registered! instead of an empty form.

Registered

What a confirmed registration looks like. Example event and guest details.

  • If you register twice with the same email, the second attempt updates your answers instead of creating a second place.
  • If the event has ended, registration closes and the page shows the event as over.

Registering does not mark you present. On the day you still need to check in — see Check in at the event.

Need more help?

For anything about a specific event — the route, what to bring, a place you can no longer take — contact the host through the links on their event page or club profile. They hold the guest list; we don't.

For help using JoinRun itself, email us. Include the event link and a short description of what happened.
